Dog Walk Forms

Work is always ongoing at CCHS. We are currently involved with the following projects:

-- Operating the FixaPet program - a low-cost spay/neuter program for anyone's pets from anywhere
-- Emergency medical fund - an ongoing project for those animals with special needs.  (Please click on the "Special Needs Pets" link to the left if you'd like more information and the opportunity to help.)
-- Humane education by providing educational tours at the Shelter for the area's youth and adults
-- Spay/neuter fund - a special effort by CCHS to assist with the spay and neuter of animals at the Shelter
-- Experimenting with a TNVR (Trap Neuter Vacinnate Release) Program to deal with the incredible feral cat overpopulation problem

hallway

This is a picture of the main hallway at CCHS. In it you can see our new floor, new ceiling and lights, and freshly painted walls. We've just never looked better! Please stop down and visit so you can see all the recent progress we've been making. We've come a long way!

backpens

This is one of our other recent projects. We've added an outside dog fencing and exercise pen area. The pens are so large that we can throw frisbees and balls for the dogs and there's even a wading pool in one for those who like to swim a little! There's also a dog walking area around the pens. These new pens allow dogs to socialize and interact with each other, which improves their chance for adoption. The volunteers also enjoy the dog walking area. It's really been an exciting project, and you've got to see it to believe how great it all turned out!
